Defect or

Enhancement Number:

Cause: The issue is with the Override setting disabled in the policy. The system evaluates all the notification settings combined for each user with access to the resource. It follows a hierarchical order for global settings, policy settings, user settings, share/network folder, etc. The policy setting is evaluated before the share setting, and the flag that disallows override causes the following settings to be skipped

Resolution or

Workaround:

Disable the user override option from the admin portal > settings > policies ( policy associated with the user ) > notifications > make sure the disable user override option is unchecked > save the changes
