or Issue:

FileCloud Sync not working with error message no thread available.

Environment:

  • Product - On-premise
  • Version - 23.1
  • Platform - Windows
  • Application - Sync client
Steps to Reproduce:

Running FileCloud Sync client release 23.1.

Error or Log Message: No thread available.

Defect or

Enhancement Number:

 
Cause: Outdated FileCloud Sync version.

Resolution or

Workaround:

1) Update FileCloud Sync app to latest version.

 

  

2) Create a fresh Sync DB in client computer:

  • Logout from FileCloud Sync and stop the application.
  • Navigate to folder %APPDATA%\FileCloudSyncData
  • Rename the folder named client to client_old.
  • Start the Sync application and login.
  • Verify that the error doesn't appear anymore.
