Workaround:

The Share Owner can be changed if the share was created for a Team Folder or Network Share. However, this is not the case for folder/files within My Files.

  • Go to the Admin Portal
  • Access User Shares
  • Select the share that needs to be modified and click on the Edit button
  • Change the Share Owner field to the username of the new share owner.
  • Click on the Update button to save.
