or Issue:

reCAPTCHA feature not working for both Login and Public password protected shares.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - All
  • Platform - All
  • Application - Third Party Integrations > reCAPTCHA
Steps to Reproduce:

 

FileCloud admin portal configured from Settings > Third Party Integrations > reCAPTCHA

 

Error or Log Message: Captcha Token Invalid CLFC-00035 error

Defect or

Enhancement Number:

 
Cause: https://www.google.com is not reachable from FileCloud web node

Resolution or

Workaround:

Open network ACL: Source IP FileCloud web node > Destination www.google.com > Port 443 HTTPS
Notes:  If you have multiple FileCloud web nodes, the ACL must be opened for each of them.
