Wrong update time for a file - Drive mount

Original Question/Issue: Field "Date modified" from Windows file explorer is showing different times for users

Environment:

  • Product - On-premise
  • Version - All
  • Platform - All
  • Application - FileCloud Drive
Steps to Reproduce:  
Error/Log Message:  
Defect/Enhancement Number:  
Cause:  
Resolution/Workaround:

Please proceed as below in order to track file operations through all devices:

 

1) Review FileCloud Drive logs from users machines:

 

%APPDATA%\FileCloud Drive\data\fcedc.log

%APPDATA%\FileCloud Drive\data\FileCloudDrive.log

 

2) Review Date and Time Zone in each device:

 

FileCloud Admin Portal > Settings > Misc > General > Server Timezone

Users machines > Settings > Time & language > Date & time > Time zone

 

3) Review FileCloud server logs on all FileCloud web nodes:

 

Windows: C:\xampp\htdocs\scratch\logs
Linux: /var/www/html/scratch/logs

 

4) Review Audit logs for that file from FileCloud Admin Portal > Audit
