Description

As of FileCloud version 23.241, a change was introduced that may impact Team Folder sharing behavior under specific circumstances. In limited cases, this change could result in unexpected access being granted to certain groups of accounts.

A solution has been introduced in FileCloud version 23.241.2. If you have upgraded to FileCloud version 23.241 and are configured to use Team Folders, it is recommended to upgrade to 23.241.2 which includes a variety of additional improvements and fixes.

Resolution

FileCloud version 23.241.2 addresses this issue and has been made available for download. The solution within this patch has also been applied to our hosted, SaaS environment known as “FileCloud Online”. If you are using this service, you do not need to do anything as the issue has already been addressed in your environment. If you are running FileCloud Server yourself, you will need to upgrade your systems.
