CLFC-00035 FileCloud sync

or Issue:

User is getting message with error code CLFC-00035. Cannot change credentials, as FileCloud Sync starts, and immediately closes with this error code Windows notification, no popup to input new credentials. Did full install and even extra steps to delete registry files and residuals, with the same error.

You can completely reset the Sync application by following the steps below. 

 

  1. Exit the Sync application from the system tray. 
  2. Navigate to the path " %APPDATA%\FileCloudSyncData ". 
  3. Rename the folder "client" to "client.bak".
  4. Start the Sync application. 
  5. This will now allow you to re-login.
