Email ID already in use when adding a new user

When adding a new user to the admin portal the error "Email ID already in use" will appear. 


Question/Issue Description:


  "Seeing an error when trying to add a new user."


Environment Details:

  • Product - Filecloud Server
  • Version - Any
  • Platform - Any

Error/Log Message:


Getting the below error message when trying to add a new user:





  1. If no other users have the email ID, check if the email ID is used under Settings > Team Folders > Manage?
  2. Either change the email address for the TeamFolder account or use a different email address for the new user account.
