User account expirations

Looking in FileCloud’s support site about making user accounts temporary specifically for vendor, external, or guest accounts. 

 

The account to expire can be set on a certain date but what happens to the account after that date?  Does the account and email address get purged?

  • Product - FC on-premise

Workaround:

 

When a user account is set to expire, the account will be disabled. If the user attempts to log in, they will receive a message indicating that the account is expired and disabled.

 

In-order to re-enable the account, you can change the user access level from "disabled" to "full," "guest," or "external," and then save the changes.
